Ah good old thought crime. What goes on in the head, stays in the head. I've got plenty of fun fantasies that would get me arrested in real life. Oh that stalking through the jungle in search of female prey rape fantasy... We all have these thoughts, the difference lies in acting upon them.

On the somewhat related subject, the Greeks divided love into three main categories, Filias (familial/mentor), Eros (physical/lust) and Agape (spiritual/ideological). If you look at the institutionalized pederasty of the Greek golden age you find that the first type was the goal and that it was actually forbidden to a: NOT have a young charge under your wing and b: if the relationship was considered to be purely physical it was frowned upon to the level of being forbidden. This was no blip on the radar, this was a system that was very successful for hundreds of years and produced some of the most long-lasting profound schools of thought and philosophy.
