If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want -- good or bad. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

Date: 2007-04-13 05:30 am (UTC)If you are who I think you are, you and your wife have the same first initial. You used to live in western Wayne County in a house with a basement. I visited that basement once, but I don't remember why -- perhaps to help move something to or from a con. It was a long time ago.
As I remember you, you speak sometimes very rapidly and from great knowledge, and then stop to show a very engaging smile.
Many apologies if I am wrong about your identity.

Date: 2007-04-16 09:54 pm (UTC)My name begins with J; my wife's with L. I have only ever lived in Massachusetts and New Jersey. I *do* spend a lot of time in my basement, though!
Dunno about the "engaging smile", but the "rapidly and from great knowledge" baton has now been passed to my daughter.

Date: 2007-04-17 09:22 pm (UTC)The fellow-who-I-thought-you-were has furry interests in common with you, and I had not seen him in some time, so I thought it plausible he had landed in New Jersey.
You must have clicked through to my own web sites to figure out that I'm Jewish. Or have I mentioned it somewhere on LJ?
