Oh come on! You just assumed that because I had a clockspring problem, then I must have one of the models for which the clockspring is an admitted problem. I suppose I could put up a fuss with Chrysler that they claimed (in effect) to have fixed the clockspring for the 2001 model year, but here's my 2002 having the same problem so they ought to recall it also.
Is Toyota a lot better than Honda? I see that Toyota Canada makes the Corolla, Matrix, Lexus RX350, and (soon) RAV4. Kid #2 will be leaving his booster seat behind soon, so perhaps I can get a Corolla, if it has enough room for my oversized wife. The Matrix compares itself to the Viper and the Sebring, so not really a "family" car. The Lexus implies more money than I have. The RAV4 is an SUV, which presumably means it has excessive road clearance.
Anyway, the Voyager has only 73,000 miles on it, so I'm hoping to go a few more years before buying another car. I bought it new only because my brother-in-law works for Chrysler and got me an employee discount, but even so it was a major hassle buying from those creepy Chrysler salesdroids.
