ALSO: My friends list seems to have stagnated.  Does anyfur have any suggestions as to where I could advertise this journal?  I checked out a bunch of "Add me!" communities but none seemed appropriate.  I have thought up a hilarious promo (unfortunately too large for the margin of this page) but don't want to write it down until I've selected a target audience.  I considered BlogShares but there's too much other stuff there—they have a nice set of blog-categories, but then it would just be depressing when nobody voted for me.

I initially pulled friends from furry_connect. I also have a standing policy where anyone who randomly commented in my journal. I've also randomly friended people I found interesting based on their comments in mutual friends' LJs.

I've considered furry_connect, but that seems to be mostly an advertisement for "furs" rather than "the journals of fur-bearing geeks".  I'm concerned that friends I acquire from there will be disappointed with the lack of fur in my recent writings.

If it's any indication, my journal doesn't have alot of fur content.

I used to have Queen's self-titled album, but I held an "I'm finally old enough to buy beer" party for my dorm-mates and someone stole the album.
I picked it up in decent condition (the album sleeve is rought, but the vinyl is in excellent condition) for $3 or $4 at a flea market. The CD can be had for $12, I think. I haven't paid much attention to the CD price, as I find vinyl makes for a better listening experience.

The "Homestead Movie Night" (June '04) is the only time I've played an online RPG. Thanks for being there.

If I'm reading the traces right, Dave the Adjective stops by my journal occasionally, but never says anything.

I suppose I could post something to furry_connect and then advertise it on ALF as "this newsgroup is dead; look over here instead".

Well, it's very red. It's an amazing subject matter, but as a visual image it may not be as stimulating as other pictures, since it does not have very much in the way of green or blue details.
