Personally, I think the strip should've stopped at the first row. As they said of MST3K, "the right people will get it". ^_^

Same. I took the last panel for the punchline, and expected to see the second row be another strip entirely.

Oh ye of little faith!  The last panel of the first line *seemed* like a punchline, but it was just a setup for a whole nother level of absudist fantasy, which them wraps back to the original topic in the final panel.  A good job, I thought.

I find MST3K unwatchable.  The snarky audio is not different enough in amplitude from the movie audio, so I can't concentrate on either of them.  And the visual design (a huge static frame around the movie) makes the video to hard to watch as well.

Is there some specific meaning of 'butterfly' that makes the last panel of the first line seem like a good punchline?
