Happy turkey day
This is very silly.
When Emeril Lugasse used a deep-fat fryer on a turkey, it became a fad. Underwriter's Laboratories refuses to certify the safety of *any* consumer turkey-frying device.
What is the big deal with the cult of the Flying Spaghetti Monster? I keep seeing references to it:
Recent surfing find: A fellow named Amos Urban Shirk read the entire 1911 Encyclopedia Britannica, then read the entire 1914 EB. A.J. Jacobs read the (much larger) entire 2002 EB and then published a book about the funny parts. Andrew David Ratto (a Jewish atheist) is reading some edition from the 1970's; he has a journal in which he blogs about reading and reads about blogging—he was embarrassed to see in his logfile lots of hits from porn-seekers due to a typo mastubation in one his posts.
